Co-Founder and CEO
As CEO, Dan is responsible for holistic corporate management functions including, growth strategies, marketing initiatives, accounting, financial oversight, HR, and management information systems. Dan has two decades of experience in aviation manufacturing and brings to the team a broad based business foundation that supports our team’s unique skillsets. Dan holds a Private Pilot License and looks forward to Saturdays with calm winds and clear skies.
Owen Watkins
Co-Founder and President
As President, Owen is responsible for operations management, strategic planning initiatives including new capability development, quality systems, and FAA certifications, and serves as the Repair Station Accountable Manager. Owen holds ATP Pilot Licenses and Instructor Ratings in both fixed wing and helicopter categories. For the past 15 years, Owen has also managed a flight department, which has included numerous aircraft sales, acquisitions, and interior/exterior completions. Owen’s aviation perspective is applied in SureFlight to create an exemplary customer experience.
Leighton M. Yohannan
Partner
Lee is an entrepreneur with a proven history of building companies in their growth stage. Lee was a founding partner of LiquidHub, a systems integrator and technology strategy consultancy which he grew to revenues of $70 million. Prior to starting LiquidHub, Lee was owner and CEO of the Reohr Group, Inc., a $55 million annual revenues global technologies company. Lee has now focused his entrepreneurial acumen to the aviation sector, and provides SureFlight advisory leadership, especially focused on growth strategies.
DeWitte Binkley
General Manager
As General Manager, DeWitte is responsible for leading SureFlight’s team of highly trained technicians to provide exquisite aircraft completions. DeWitte is our first employee and is a foundational part of SureFlight’s management. Prior to joining SureFlight, DeWitte served for 22 years as a supervisor at Sikorsky’s Keystone Helicopter. Prior to Keystone, he managed Agusta Westland’s paint shop. DeWitte’s entire career starting with Atlantic Aviation in Wilmington, DE has been devoted to aircraft refinishing. DeWitte’s unparalleled experience enables SureFlight to provide both beautiful and durable works of art when we work on your aircraft.
Jeremy Binkley
Chief Inspector
Jeremy is SureFlight’s FAA Part 145 Repair Station and ISO 9001:2008 & AS9100 Chief Inspector. Jeremy holds a FAA Airframe Mechanic’s License and has extensive experience in various aircraft specialties, including airframe maintenance, painting, aircraft composites, sheet metal, and aircraft interiors. Jeremy has held the following positions spanning almost two decades: Chief Inspector, Lead Interior Technician, Composite Shop Supervision, Composite Technician, Fabrication Technician, Maintenance Technician, and Paint Technician. Jeremy also has formal training from Flight Safety International’s Composite Repair Training School in West Palm Beach, Fl, and DuPont Aviation Finishes.
